KID's Third Annual Best Friend Award Night fundraiser will take place on Monday,
May 5, 2003 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the distinctive Indian/Asian restaurant,
Monsoon, in Chicago. The evening will
include a reception, silent auction, and Best Friend Award presentation.
KID is delighted to honor public officials on the local, state and national levels as
our 2003 Best Friends. Awards will be presented to
Caroline O. Shoenberger, Chicago Commissioner of Consumer Services,
Carol Ronen, Illinois State Senator, and
Jan Schakowsky, U.S. Representative.
Together, these women demonstrate a resolute commitment to children through their work as
advocates for children's product safety.
