It's the time of year when many of us give to the charities that work on the issues that matter most to us.
Supporters of Kids In Danger have much to be joyous about this year. With new regulations and new leadership at CPSC, we have already seen
progress toward a stronger children's product safety system.
We have come so far and at the same time know how much more there is still to do.
In the next year and beyond, KID will be there acting as the consumer's watchdog, making sure
the new federal law is implemented efficiently and effectively. We will be there as CPSC
drafts new mandatory standards for cribs and other nursery products. KID will expand our educational
programming to reach grandparents and a wider net of parents and caregivers with lifesaving recall information. KID is planning a
new targeted education campaign about safe sleeping environments. We will reach out to resale shops and vulnerable
populations to provide tools and information to identify and remove dangerous products from stores, homes, and other
childcare settings.
But we can't do it without your support. There are so many ways to support Kids In Danger.
