KID is out there fighting to promote the development of safer children’s products, advocate for children and educate the public about unsafe children’s products to help families keep their children safe.

Our work has earned us a nomination as Small Charity of the Year in the Stay Classy Awards, which recognize philanthropic achievements. You can read KID’s entry here – from Linda and Boaz’s founding of this organization to honor Danny’s memory and help protect other children to the passage of Danny’s Law and KID’s current leadership in the new children’s product safety landscape.

Thanks to your efforts, KID is now a finalist in the contest and the prize is $15,000!

That money would mean so much for KID’s work at this pivotal time, as key portions of Danny’s Law are coming into effect, new testing standards are being developed and the need for KID’s lifesaving programs and services grows ever greater.

Only the top 10 charities advance to the final round – KID is currently #9! The deadline is this Friday, August 26th.
