KID’s Best Friends Night is our premier fundraising event of the year to sustain our life-saving work to protect children by fighting for product safety. Join fellow KID supporters and friends to commemorate KID’s 25th anniversary.
For 25 years, with your support, KID has worked tirelessly to keep children safe. We have advocated for child safety. provided life-saving information to parents and caregivers, and trained tomorrow’s engineers in design safety. Our work has brought about many hard- fought victories, including the 2008 Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and recent laws and CPSC standards to keep children safe from dangerous sleep products, button cell battery and magnet ingestion and much more. We also launched the KID Design Safety Toolkit – a free online course to provide entrepreneurs and children’s products companies with the information they need to design, develop. and market products more safely.
The Best Friends Night gives us all an opportunity to be together and not only celebrate our achievements but put KID on strong footing for the challenges ahead.
