Kids In Danger (KID) created this Privacy Policy to explain why we collect particular information and how we will collect, use, store and protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, www.kidsindanger.org (the “Site”). The Effective Date of this Privacy Policy is set forth at the top of this webpage. KID reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy simply by posting such changes on our Site. KID will not make retroactive changes unless we are legally required to do so. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after the Effective Date constitutes your acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy and any information collected will be subject to the laws of the United States, regardless of the country from which any data originates. What information we collect and how we use that information:

Our donation and subscription forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, address, email address, and other information. Information such as location and other information may be used for internal analytics and reports. Donations made by credit or debit card are handled by a third-party payment services provider. We do not store sensitive information from our visitors such as credit card numbers.

What Information is Disclosed:

We do not sell, rent, or license to third parties any of the personal information that you provide to us through our website, or authorize any of our suppliers to sell or rent any such personal information, and we do not authorize any of our suppliers to make independent use of your personal information for their own purposes, including but not limited to direct marketing.

Children’s Privacy:

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 years to use such personal information for direct marketing purposes. This Site is directed to persons who are at least 13 years of age. If a parent or guardian is made aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information through any point of contact, we ask to be contacted here and we will delete the information about the child referenced from our files.
