3.1 million units recalled, 3,066 incidents, 68 injuries reported

In May, the Tommee Tippee Sippee Spill-Proof cup was recalled due to mold. There is a white removable piece inside the cup where the mold would grow if wet. Ingestion of mold by children can cause diarrhea and vomiting. You can contact the company, Mayborn, for a replacement.

121,000 units recalled, 100 incidents, 15 injuries reported

Back in 2015, the Trapeze Rings from Rainbow Play Systems were recalled because the ring handles would break while in use. This past April it was recalled again due to a low response rate from the 2015 recall. If you have this item, you can get a refund from the company.

16751aHillsdale Chadwick children’s bunk beds

20,000 recalled, 650 incidents, 8 injuries reported

Last month, a children’s bunk bed sold only at Bob’s Discount Furniture was recalled because the rails breaking, resulting in a fall hazard to children. The manufacturer, Hillsdale Furniture, will repair the bunk bed free of charge.

49,000 recalled, 5 injuries reported

Britax B-Ready strollers have been recalled because of the material inside the bar that keeps the child from falling over. If children bite at this, then it becomes a choking hazard. For the time being, remove the bar altogether from the stroller until you contact Britax and receive a safety cover to put over it.

5,600 units recalled, 6 incidents, 4 injuries reported

In February, Nuna Baby high chairs were recalled for fall hazards because the arm bar would detach, causing a child to fall. Contact the company to receive a new bar.

16204aIKEA MALM Chests and Dressers

29 millions recalled, 5 deaths, 41 injuries reported

IKEA recalls MALM and other models of chest and dressers due to a serious tip-over and entrapment hazard that has caused a serious threat to children’s safety. The remedy is to have the chests and/or dressers anchored properly to the wall or contact IKEA for a full refund.
